Wellington, FL (February 17, 2020) - Of all the other equestrian auctions held in the United States and Europe, the Santana Stables Sport Horse Auction is one of the the few to offer confirmed Grand Prix and international Grand Prix horses. With no minimum bid and zero lag time between purchase and show ring, the Santana Auction is an unprecedented opportunity to acquire a confirmed Grand Prix horse.

Friday's FEI $137,000 Grand Prix CSI3* marked a major milestone for this year's Auction: Lot 12 (Canturano x Indorado) became the first official international Grand Prix horse on the Auction roster. Ridden by Joaquin Abisu of Argentina for the Santana Stables Auction House, the 9-year-old gelding had a top 8 finish in Thursday's Grand Prix qualifier and had an odd rail under the lights on Friday.

Lot 12 is the first official international 1.60M competition horse.
